The Hush
A pale marble baluster, hand-turned and waxed.
The Hush is turned from a single block of Carrara marble on our slow lathe. The silhouette is borrowed from a 17th-century apothecary jar — a low foot, a softly swelling belly, a narrow neck.
The lid is fitted by hand and seals against a felted gasket of pale wool. Each piece is signed by the turner on the underside.
Suited to a quiet shelf, a sunlit windowsill, or a niche.
